scsi-usb conversion

I have a digital recording studio. It has several output options:s/p dif, scsi-2 50 pin, and midi. Is there a way to feed this digital output into my iMac? It's a recent model, with usb, firewire, ethernet, and audio line-in ports. I could use the monitor out-linein, but that would be going digital to analog to digital, which doesn't make sense.
